The objectives of this session were to learn about Dialysis Adequacy and Kinetic Evaluation, including: the definition of adequacy and how to achieve it, the role of peritoneal kinetics, the differences between PD and HD adequacy and effective dialysis in a challenged economy.

The objectives of this session were to learn about Fluid Management and Ultrafiltration, including: how to assess and manage volume status, the causes of volume overload and how to prevent and treat.
